Job Description

Reporting to the VP & MD, Commercial & Residential Solutions, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the manufacturing, operations, supply chain, quality and other operations related support functions in the pursuit of achieving plant operational goals and developing strategies that facilitate business growth, while fostering a culture of trust, winning and results. You will also ensure strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.

Responsibilities:-

  • Provide leadership and advocate the culture of Safety-First and continuous improvement across all the operation sites.
  • Create and implement vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures for the plant team to aid and improve business performance.
  • Formulate and drive key operation initiatives according to the long term and short-term strategies, and coach the team to deliver best of class quality and services for excellence.
  • Lead, develop and implement cost and productivity program across all areas of responsibility.
  • Maximize company performance, profitability, and efficiency in regard to all supply chain, including but not limited to planning, procurement, logistics and warehousing.
  • Drive improvements in Quality Management system, striving for best in class products and business practices to deliver to the customer’s expectations.
  • Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs.
  • Proactively work with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Advance Manufacturing Engineering, Application Engineering, Quality and other departments to incorporate best practices into the operations and manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to.
  • Drive the implementation of global best practices in manufacturing process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the manufacturing strategy and to incorporate best practices into the operations environment.
  • Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop resources and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A degree in management is desirable with 18 – 22 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
