Senior Desing Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Prepare and review of plant & equipment 2D/3D layout, hole & foundation plans, ducting and piping layout, fabrication drawings.
• Prepare pipe isometric, BOQ, MTO.
• Prepare man hours estimation of detail design engineering activities. i.e. 3D layout, skids etc.
• Prepare work planning to compete the given task/project on time and within budget.
• P&ID review and deviation discussion and co-ordination with process & project team for changes affected concern to layout.
• Interpret process flow in to layout.
• Co-ordination and communication with all stake holders of large-scale EPC domestic and international projects.
• Reporting to directing manager and project manager as a matrix managed project team at other geographical location. i.e. Europe, APAC, etc.
• Actively participate in team and department meeting and all other project related meetings.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical from reputed institute.
• 5-8 years of experience in Autodesk AutoCAD plant 3D & Inventor Professional (Plant Design, PID, Skid Engineering, preferred)
• 2-8 year Experience on any particular Dairy / Food / Beverages / Brewery/ Pharma/ Chemical Industry.
• Fault finding skill & P&ID and equipment list understanding.
• Basic knowledge of plant and equipment layout, ducting, piping, BOQ, Specification of components. (static and rotary)
• Basic knowledge of material science and its application.
• Hands on experience of working with International Code and Standards (FDA, 3A, ANSI, DIN< ISO, ASTM, ASME)
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design calculations. i.e. strength, stress, etc.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Sincere, positive attitude, self motivated, good team player.
• Comfortable to work in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to work with draftsman and guide them to execute the day to day engineering task.
• Willingness to continuously learn on job.
• Should have problem solving skill.
• Readiness to travel domestic and other international location whenever require.
