Senior Designer-Mechanical

This is an Senior Designer-Mechanical role reporting to Engineering Manager in Process Automation Business Area, based out of Bangalore; India. You will be primarily responsible for the implementation of Mechanical and Piping studies according to specifications in terms of time schedule, cost and quality which are required for the project.

Responsibilities:-

• Analysing and providing solutions in terms of general layout, piping routing, skid arrangement and other technical solutions according to the customer’s specification and issue a calculation note for a piping stress or Piping rack and piping support in accordance with the project requirement.
• Verifying the compliance with contractual specifications, technical documents and coordinating the actions of the different actors on the project.
• Coordinating the Eng. mechanical studies of Piping, 3D Model, piping drawing, piping support, isometric, Material take off, etc.
• Developing the studies integrating Customers’ requirements and Subcontractors’ needs and participating to several projects at the same time.
• Technical contact with the purchaser during the tender, during the control of the equipment and also for its reception and control.
• Participating in accordance with project schedule of the several reviews of checking and control about a layout, Piping 3d review.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Must have Diploma with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Required experience of the EPC Eng in Chemical, Petroleum and Paint industries.
• Technological knowledge in agitator, pumps, screw conveyor, storage tank, filtration, powder storage, Valves and accessories, Piping carbon steel and stainless steel, Steel structure.
