Job Description

  • The role will be focused on delivering services in the renewable energy sector as either Owner’s Engineer or Independent Engineer which may include: feasibility studies, project design, project development services, technical due diligence, construction monitoring, acceptance testing, performance and operational services, as well as involvement in winning and delivering new projects across the globe.

Responsibilities may include:-

Delivery:-

  • Support execution of technical due diligence or Owner’s Engineer services on large scale energy storage, solar PV and /or wind projects for Investors, Lenders, IPPs and Developers
    Monitoring and reporting on projects through the construction and operational phases
    Providing technical engineering support on projects at all stages of the project development cycle
    Reviewing or developing (as per candidate’s specific experience) of energy resource assessment reports, technology assessments, structural studies, electrical design, contractual documentation, environmental studies, planning permission, health and safety reports, or grid connection documentation
    Contributing to business development activities i.e. development of new solutions, proposal writing and client presentations.

Responsibilities:-

  • Responsible for operational level understanding of the requirement of the client/customer, Site Visits, Site feasibility & Solar Systems Design
  • Designing of arrangements of the solar panels for Rooftop & Ground Mounted & other various supported Electrical equipment
  • Grading and Earthwork calculations
  • Storm Water Management Design and Permitting
  • Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design and Permitting
  • Designing the simulations must have expertise on software like STAAD-PRO, ETABS, Solid works, etc. and similar simulators.
  • Having knowledge of civil & structural IS /BS codes/IEC standard specifications needed for the designing and execution of solar projects.
  • RFQ preparation for all Civil & Mechanical works
  • Review design of Civil & Mechanical design and engineering works, specifications, and calculations and suggest corrective actions if needed, including those of vendors.

Education:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
