Responsibilities:-
- Support ISO26262/ IEC61508 Functional Safety assessments
- Perform benchmarking activities on safety products
- Perform Fault injection validation and safety analysis review
- Support cutting-edge innovation topics – Proof of concept
- Maintain / Enhance the Safety Culture within the company - Evangelize the Functional Safety approach across organizational boundaries and with management.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Education:-
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience.
Experience:-
- A good knowledge of ISO-26262
- 2+ years architecting, designing or validating component (at least for one of the following: SoC/MCU, Analog component, Sensor, Embedded SW) dedicated to functional safety systems in automotive
- Good understanding of the responsibility share between supplier and OEM when it comes to product safety
- 5+ years of experience in automotive industry preferable
- Desirable: Previous experience as Safety architect in development of Safety Element out of Context for one of the above-mentioned component or in Embedded Software development or Safety related IP development
Skills Required:-
- Demonstrated technical leadership, capacity of influencing, convincing
- Comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies, complex Functional Safety products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills spanning technical contributors, business stakeholders, customers, and executive management.
