Our Research Group (Advanced Data Management), located in Bangalore, is part of Business Analytics and Monitoring (BAM) Technology Field. Headquartered in Munich, we are a passionate community of 240+ researchers, data scientists and architects distributed across the globe. We strive to tackle complex problems in various domains ranging from industry, energy, mobility and buildings to smart cities by applying methods and principles of data analytics and artificial intelligence. Are you up for these challenges:-

Our research primarily focuses on methods and algorithms for data driven decisions. As a full stack developer you will have to research, and develop applications that support our prototypes, proof of concepts and products.

As a full-stack developer, you will have to:-

Be proficient with both back-end and front-end languages.
Design and implementation of the overall cloud architecture in consultation with architects.
“Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface.
Design and deployment of our database.
Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
Design and construction of our REST APIs.
Continuous integration and deployment.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

Masters/PhD. in Computer Science or a related discipline from a reputed institute Experience in semantic web related specifications and tools.
Machine learning expertise is a definite plus!
Strong implementation level understanding of Web Services (REST).
Development experience working with standard web frameworks such as web frameworks like python-django/flask; node.js
Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and . Net.
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Implementation knowledge of data visualization libraries like D3, Plotly, Grafana would be highly appreciated.
Experience with UI development for AI-based services, e.g. using tensorflow.js is a plus.
Attention to detail.
An open mind; desire to learn the most appropriate language/technology to solve a given problem.
Readiness to work in uncertainty regarding the resolution of a problem, the existence of means to resolve it and, sometimes, in the absence of detailed objectives.
Autonomous and responsible; organized and structured in initiatives and work.

Responsibilities:-

Build and craft innovative ideas to address the business needs in the areas that are relevant to the research group and technology field and transfer them to business through projects.
Implement proofs of concept and prototypes to evangelize the ideas.
Always stay ahead of the latest developments in our areas of research and stay ahead / Disseminate the knowledge by conducting technical talks and workshops.
Create IP and publish papers in reputed international journals and conferences.
Mentor graduate student interns in order to address curious questions in our areas of research.
