Job Description

You will be working as Research and Development Electrical Engineer and will be part of Motion business for Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Principal Engineer and will be responsible for working on electromagnetic and thermal dimensioning of a wide range of electric motors and generators.

Responsibilities:-

  • Electromagnetic and thermal dimensioning of electric motors and generators
  • Providing electrical expertise to an R&D project as a member of a project team
  • Maintaining and developing electrical performance of a chosen motor or generator platform
  • Supporting sales and factory operations as an electrical expert
  • Developing tools and methods for electric and thermal calculations of motor and generators

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with proven background on electric motor or generator design will be considered
  • Require more than 10 years of experience
  • Experience on motor or generator dimensioning and /or knowledge of frequency converters is an advantage
  • A Systematic way of working and good problem-solving skills
  • Solutions and customer service-oriented mind-set. Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English
