Job Description

Responsibilities:-

Able to lead a team with strong people management skills, to deliver the value, expected from the team.  The team manager is expected to define and implement both long term and short-term strategies, for the team, as per the overall organization strategy

The team manager shall be responsible for continuous development, appraisal, and career planning of team members, in line with the organizational requirements. Strategies shall be formulated for the team, to complement the value to be delivered, continuously. Processes shall be defined and implemented for the activities and deliverables. Ensure quality and timely deliverables, collaborating and coordinating with all concerned teams and organizations, both internal and external, as per the projects and products plans.  Some of the key responsibilities include, but not limited to

Activities & Deliverables:-

  • Work together with the R&D Management, Product Management and deliver design & system studies for products & solutions.
  • Define system verification scope, areas, considering the boundaries and limits, performance & parameters, functional & non-functional requirements.
  • Ensure that team has direction, scope clarity, and resources to deliver results, with realistic estimates for timelines, to meet deadlines.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Master’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science or comparable subject.
  • Good technical background in power system domain – specially in Power Conversion and Power Quality area,
  • 10+ years of overall experience including line / project management experience, preferably in globally distributed organizations.
  • Work experience in a research & development environment, Product Development lifecycle preferably in Power Conversion and Power Quality area, Proven experience working with multi-cultural, geographical distributed teams and experience in AGILE development methodologies.
  • Awareness of quality process, such as DFEMA would be an added advantage Excellent spoken and written communication abilities in English.
  • Drive and enthusiasm. Strong leadership (direct and indirect reports) and proven change management experience. Structured way of working.
