You will be working as R&D QA Engineer, reporting to R&D Team Lead, Robotics & Discrete Automation Division based in Bangalore. You will be responsible to Identifies, proposes, and implements innovative technology, software and/or solutions by contributing with own ideas. Works independently as a member of an R&D team.
Responsibilities:-
- Analyze system requirements, creation of testcases, execute testcases, reporting bugs and creation of system test reports.
- Writing Test Plans, Test cases, Test Procedures and execute the test cases based on the product.
- Defect Analysis for the defects leaked out of the Test phase of the product.
- Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the Test project and testing objectives.
- Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug report closure.
- Configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
- Assist in review of test processes as they are developed.
Qualification And Experience:-
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 2 - 5 Years’ experience in SW testing (preferably product type testing).
- Experience in any of the commercial Automation Tool as well as Azure DevOps. Hands on experience with test scripts.
- Should have strong understanding on software product development life cycle.
- Knowledge of various Testing methodologies, Test Strategy development, Test Data analysis, Exposure to bug life cycle.
- Preferably ISTQB or CSTE certified tester or equivalent.
