Job Description

You will be working as R&D Engineer- Electronics testing and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Hyderabad, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for working on world class products in energy management, motor control, switchgear and equipment protection etc.

Responsibilities:-

  • Ensuring planning and implementation of test plans by assigning the right priority and overseeing the resources allocated
  • Analyzing and evaluating test results and preparing test reports in partnership with design engineers and quality team members
  • Working with design teams in the reliability evaluation and selection of components including passives, actives and microcontrollers
  • Coordinating with sourcing or facility and HSE to achieve timely completion of projects
  • Preparing, reviewing, managing and updating the required technical or supporting documents independently
  • Ensuring that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed and that activities are thoroughly reported for internal and external use

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in relevant field
  • Experience in the electrical protection or controls domain preferred
  • Good hands-on experience in supporting project teams on test setups – Environmental testing, EMI/EMC, product qualification, external lab or agency certification etc
  • Understanding of product standards and regulatory agency requirements along with electronic manufacturing process knowledge
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and independent work skills
