Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
- Establish and enforce quality control protocols and procedures to stimulate consistent quality improvement across all functions. Verify compliance requirements with existing procedures.
- Direct end-to-end implementation of quality controls and review mechanisms. Proactively flag risks and offer recommendations on how to resolve them
- Advocate for minimizing rework and improving the quality of IFC Deliverables by driving a continuous quality index improvement.
- Coordinate with project teams and customer teams to comprehend product quality feedback and serviceability issues.
- Work in collaboration with the Quality Advocate and Department Management teams to discuss and rectify recurring issues. Lead root cause analysis efforts, and modify work processes when required.
- Lead periodic QC/QA training and awareness sessions for the staff. Encourage Department teams to build organizational knowledge by utilization of Knowledge Capture Tool (KCT) and other mechanisms
- Review Quality logs and highlight recurring Quality issues to the Management team. Closely work with Engineering and Project management on areas of improvement to avoid repetitive errors.
- Coordinate with Quality Manager counterparts in other global practices/offices
- Ensure implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) and necessary documentation.
- Communicate with Corporate Quality at regular intervals to ensure integrity with QMS and overall quality objectives.
- Compliance, Audits, and Reporting Adherence:
- Oversee rigorous compliance to quality protocols and processes with all stakeholders.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure preparedness for ISO 9001 periodic surveillance/renewal audits.
- Prepare and manage the Quality calendar and Internal Audit plans for Projects.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual quality reports, quality logs, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications And Experience:-
- Qualification Position Requirements
- Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in any Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Certifications/Diplomas from reputable institutes on Quality Assurance will be given preference.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor training preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Engineering/Project Management/Quality Management of Oil, Gas, Chemical/Industrial projects.
- Experience in setting up a Quality department or and hands-on experienceleading Quality Management in a large Engineering or EPC organization
- Valid US Visa is desirable, but not essential.
Critical Skills:-
- Good understanding of project execution.
- Prior experience as an Engineering Manager, Project Engineer or Lead Engineer.
- Collaborative work style and robust interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Self-driven, results-oriented and passionate about Quality Assurance in Engineering & EPC projects.
- Excellent Communication , Presentation , Negotiation and Organization skills
