Job Description

TE Connectivity’s Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Responsibilities:-

  • Being the bridge between customers and sources; addressing queries. Assuring, and providing for required documentation by customers and continuous follow up with them. Manage Customer Quality function for North and South region for all TS segments: Harness Maker, Industrial & Commercial Transportation, Component Aggregate Manufacturers and TE Sensor Solutions.
  • Analyzing online drawings , specifications for new product screenings and reports from sources and verifying them.
  • Maintenance of quality standards by approving incoming materials, dispatched products and recording and preparing reports. Monitor and continuously improve processes to reduce costs and errors and ensure efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaint for India Trading parts , Redressal of queries related to technical specification, product handling and field failures raised by OEM and tier customers.
  • Containment action against customer complaint.
  • Blocked Inventory management due to Quality issues, coordinate with supply management for imported parts during crises.
  • Quality alert , Field , Warranty complaint management. Address customer complaints at tier customers and OEMs for traded parts through TECHS & responsible to close 8D report with proper Corrective & Preventive actions.
  • Process audit for current & new developed process
  • Conduct client negotiations and work on debit note approval for rejections.
  • Strong coordination with source plants (EMEA, America, etc) and Engineering colleagues for issue resolution.
  • Identify business opportunities in the problem faced by customers.
  • Roll out customer satisfaction survey and take necessary actions to improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications And Experiences:- 

  • B.Tech. degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering & Candidate should have a minimum work experience of 4 to 5 years in Automotive industry
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant.
  • Knowledge of products: connectors, sensors, and processes like molding and stamping
  • Should be willing to learn new things and able to provide innovative solutions for the problem faced.
  • Frequent visits to customers across South and North India would be required based on Quality incidences.
  • Should be flexible with work timings during critical times.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office tools
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies

Critical Experience:-

  • Incumbent will be working in quality control and in a similar manufacturing industry, QC tools knowledge & hands on experience.
  • Experience dealing with customer complaints and difficult situations and people.
