Responsibilities:-
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Plan, Inspection & test Plans, and procedures in Alignment with “Aramco” and international standards.
- Review and ensure compliance of engineering deliverables, vendor documents, and construction activities with project specifications.
- Conduct inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and construction works at site
- Oversee and coordinate quality inspections for steel structures, particularly jackets for offshore platforms
- Coordinate with the client QA/QC representatives for inspections, approvals, and audits.
- Maitian and manage NCR’S (Non-Conformance Reports). CAR’s (Corrective Action Requests) and ensure timely closure.
- Support Construction and commissioning teams by Ensuring quality issues are properly managed and resolved.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support client/third party audits.
- Ensure subcontractors and suppliers adhere to quality requirements.
- Perform inspection visits at EPC contractor’s steel structure fabrication and supply location
Main skills:-
- Minimum 12 years of QA/QC experience in Engineering activities of which at least 5 years in supervising Oil & Gas project engineering quality control /quality assurance activities
- Strong background in yard fabrication and steel structures, particularly offshore jackets
- Familiarity with Aramco standards and international codes (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, etc.)
- Preferable certified in ISA 9001:2015 Lead Auditor r equivalent quality management certifications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to be based on Mumbai )6 to 8 months) and relocate to yard locations in Hazira (India) or Sohar (Oman)
- Flexibility to travel for inspection visits abroad, as required.
