  • To manage and coordinate Project quality assurance and quality control activities providing leadership, expertise and direction.
  • To apply high level of competencies and capabilities (tools, procedures, organization and resources) in discharging quality assurance functions in the assigned projects (Engineering / EPC).
  • To define the quality assurance and quality control execution methodology for the project assigned 
  • Represent project on quality matters with Client and  stakeholders

Major Responsibility Areas:-

  • Define and implement Project Quality Plan.
  • Ensure implementation of Disciple Quality Plans where applicable. 
  • Establishment of an approved Project Internal IMS audit plan and schedule. 
  • Define and implement Project quality objectives / KPIs in liaison with Project management.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct / participate in project internal IMS audit as per project internal audit plan and schedule.
  • Follow up to ensure timely closure of audit findings ( internal / external).
  • Develop and conduct Project quality inductions, where mandated.
  • Facilitate Client / PMC audits in Projects and Home Offices. 
  • Liaise and coordinate with other Operating Centers on quality matters where the scope of work is shared. 
  • Conduct lesson learned workshops and quality awareness sessions.
  • Participate in non-conformity investigations, root cause analysis and validate corrective action proposals.
  • Review of Client / Contract quality assurance requirements and ensure collation, communication and maintenance of the same.
  • Review of Project Quality Plan and procedures in liaison with Project Manager. 
  • Close coordination with Vendor performance Management and Site Quality Control on Quality performance
  • Document and facilitate investigation into quality incidents and non-conformities customer complaints. 
  • Participate in Project quality reviews/ meetings. 
  • Participate in CNQ review and root cause analysis as needed

Qualification and Experience:-

  •  Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of experience including experience of handling FEED, Detailed Design and EPC projects of large and complex nature.
  • Familiarity with Project Life Cycle principles and significant project milestones 
  • Conversant with Quality Management System standard ISO 9001:2018 and related guidelines with familiarity on ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001 :2015 standards.
  • Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualifications on ISO9001/ ISO45001/ ISO14001 desirable
  • Proficiency in writing plans, procedures, process flow mapping, etc.
  • Familiar with project / discipline objectives, targets, goals, KPIs and QHSE metrics 
  • Possess an investigative and analytical mindset 
  • Proficient in the use of root cause analysis methods (e.g. Fishbone, FMEA, FTA, ETA, 5 Whys…)
  • Project management knowledge in a multi discipline engineering project is desirable
  • Very good report writing skills  
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influential skills
  • Knowledge on ASME/ API/ ASNT/ EN/ IS codes desirable 
  • Fluency in professional English
