Job Description

Responsibilities:-

  • Driving the technical solution in coordination with other departments (i.e., System Engineering, Primary/Mechanical Engineering, Secondary/Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering) and support Tender Manager/ Project Manager for assigned Project/Tender.
  • Evaluating risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of engineering disciplines.
  • Interacting with customers, contractors, suppliers. Attends project/Tender meetings and presents all technical aspects of project/Tender assignments.
  • Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues within the organization. Shares best practiceacross different projects and disciplines
  • Evaluating the overall cost of the engineering disciplines and getting approved from Business Unit Head
  • Utilizing standard processes, tools, and techniques. Ensuring that engineering activities are compiled with required safety regulations and contractual requirements.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • B.E./B. Tech/M. Tech with minimum 8-10 Years of Experience in any Engineering Discipline (i.e., SystemsEngineering, Primary & Secondary Engineering).
  • Experience with Medium to High Voltage Projects in Power System – Substations Domain
  • Knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purpose. Example, Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Instrument Transformer and measuring equipment, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Surge Arrestors
  • Knowledge on International standards (i.e., IEEE/IEC/GIGRE)
