Job Description

  • To organize and execute U400 Platform System Validation activities to ensure the delivery of a complete, correct and accurate System in line with Project contractual requirements
  • Be in charge of applying the technical policy defined by the platform
  • V&V Engineer is responsible for providing the technical test analyst role and ensuring Quality/Cost and Deliverables for the V&V Project

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

  • Ensures that Factory testing (via various means) provides a full coverage to guarantee a correct implementation of the requirements : functional requirements and safety requirements
  • Review and update Test procedures/scenarios against System requirements for Metro Signaling System to be executed.
  • Independently applies extensive expertise as a generalist to meet company standards and customer requirements including the design of new/ modified interfaces, products and systems. Defines specifications for new or modified products / systems in area of signaling specialization to meet contract requirements
  • Leads or participate in technical discussions with customer. Works closely with Project engineering manager involving potential modifications to specifications, verification of specifications and strategizing test campaign for the project
  • Process oriented and demonstrates process compliance
  • Primary focal in Internal/external for Quality and Safety assessment audits for V&V
  • Project V&V Report. Responsible to publish Project V&V report for project baseline, collating and summarizing tests performed at various stages. Responsible to define restrictions to subsequent phases in project life cycle. Test report: Synthesis of the tests performed and analysis of the non-conformities detected during the validation sessions in order to identify the restrictions to be applied to the T&C activities.
  • System Operation & Performance Test Report. (i.e. Safety, Robustness, Endurance, Redundancy…)Responsible for Impact analysis across baselines and freeze the non-regression strategy
  • Develops solutions to complex problems requiring innovation and creativity. Provides technical leadership to individuals or teams in resolving problems as defined above.

EDUCATION:-

  • Bachelors in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation)

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:-

  • 3-8 years of Signaling experience
  • Technical expertise in functional area
  • Knowledge of CENELEC standards or its equivalent.

Required  Experience / Skill Set:-

  • Possess advance working knowledge in signaling and more importantly in the following areas:
  • Demonstrated expertise in system verification and validation activities
  • Good understanding of the CBTC system and the system architecture.
  • Knowledge of quality processes. Familiarity with the design, hardware and software of systems and sub-systems
