Project Engineer-MES, Cement & Mining

This is a Project Engineer-MES, Cement & Mining role, reporting to the Engineering Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. You will be associated with Process Industries operations/development team within INOPC-PA, that is responsible for executing and delivering end-to-end projects for Cement, Mining, Metals & P&P customers across the globe. As a project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering assigned MES Project scope for process industry customers like Cement & Mining. Ensure the project deliverables are met in terms of application quality performance & budget, while working with a team of automation project engineers.

Responsibilities:-

• Being responsible for deliverables pertaining to MES. Carry out independently activities of basic and detailed engineering of MES systems.
• Carry out Engineering and commissioning of KM/OMS & FMS systems at Cement/Mining plants.
• Ensure the engineering workflow is adhered and project is executed as per the Quality Management System
• Prepare periodic reports (like weekly commissioning report, time sheet, SAT) and update the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure Time Sheets are maintained periodically.
• Ensure customer queries are resolved on time & maintain customer relationship through professional approach.
• Ensures the activities at site are in line with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Provide required inputs for L2/L3 support line for issues raised.

Qualification And Experience:-

• B. Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed University with First Class in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in MES implementation, software programming & independently handling areas of projects end-to-end.
• Experience in implementation of complete MES system for process/manufacturing industries.
• Experience in ABB Knowledge Manager is desirable.
• Data Analytics- Python or R Script
• Cement/Mining Process
• Basic Knowledge on Oracle database
• Basic Knowledge on Java/VB Scripting Language.
