Project Engineer-LCS System Evolution

You will be working as Project Engineer-LCS System Evolution and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for designing and executing DCS engineering activities in service projects with low to medium complexity, according to standard work instructions, quality standards and safety guidelines. Responsibilities:-

• Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments in projects
• Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of service engineering projects / programs
• Identifying customer (internal or external) requirements, analyze and document as is process and process interfaces, discover process gaps, design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources
• Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost
• Completing risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility
• Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelors of degree in instrumentation, electronics and communications engineering
• Require 3 to 8 years of experience in process automation especially in the field of oil and gas / refineries / petrochemicals
• Experience on DCS- retrofits, upgrades, service and commissioning
• Knowledge in the system installation, integration of servers and client computers in virtual environment, windows administration
• Experience in virtualization concepts, ESXi setup, raid configuration and VMware configuration
• Knowledge in designing system and network hardening and develop cyber security designs
