Program Manager

Program Manager to lead multiple NPI & DMP programs connecting with various stakeholders like ProductLine, Sourcing & Manufacturing to realize cost effective, safe & performance driven products (Solar & BESS) respecting program KPIs

Responsibilities:-

• Understand product requirements, derive design scope, breakdown requirements to tasks to manage.
• Proactively develop, maintain, drive, and communicate project timelines to broader cross-functional team.
• Manage product risk & changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Periodic dashboard updates on program status
• Demonstrate Cost-out mind set on the product design during the NPI program life cycle.
• Identify and evaluate sources of new product parts in partnership with Sourcing
• Track ordered samples & handover to Eng team
• Work with Manufacturing to understand production issues, facilitate to resolve product issues with the help of design team
• Lead & facilitate design reviews, track formal actions to closure
• Facilitate product level changes through ECM Change management
• Smooth transition of product solution to projects team
• Understand fleet issues, perform root cause analysis & facilitate design team for resolution
• Ensure continuous communication and update to all stakeholders
• Continuously evaluate the program lessons learned, both during project gates and after milestones and delivery
• Support organizational continuous quality improvement processes to reduce defects in parts, repairs, and service.
• Other responsibilities include working closely with Product Management, Sales, Design Consultancies, Marketing Communications, Supply Chain, Suppliers, and Customer Support to deliver winning product that ensure incremental revenue, customer satisfaction, time to market, and margin goals are met.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Mandatory – Sound knowledge in renewable products – Solar Inverter, Battery energy storage system
• Mandatory – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical Engineering with passion in program management
• Mandatory – 8-10 years of Program Management experience preferably from managing renewables based NPI programs
• Mandatory – Certified in project management tools PMP or Prince2
• Mandatory – Engineering Change Management
• Preferable – Good IT skills and Experience with the Microsoft packages, PLM, SAP or equivalent EPR knowledge
• Preferable – Ability to recognize UL, IEC, ISO standards & understand EU & NA regulatory requirements
• Preferable – Task management using JIRA, Confluence, Scrum, Smartsheet
• Preferable – Program Schedule management using Smart sheet, MS Projects or similar
• Preferable – DMAIC process, FMEA, 8D, Fish bone analysis
