Job Description

Working within Motion, as lead Business Area for Procurement & Logistics you will be ensuring that ABB has fit-to-purpose and modern Supply Chain Management business processes and systems in line with business needs utilizing synergies wherever relevant. Reporting to Motion Global Operations manager and functionally to Motion IS Domain lead, you will be achieving highest degree of digitalization of the logistic processes and in doing so enabling common P2P finance processes to fit our Business Divisions SCM strategies across ABB’s Business Areas.. Further ensuring that the program is executed in a transparent and collaborative manner in line with ABB Way governance.

Responsibilities:-

  • Working seamlessly with the SCM organization across ABBs Business Areas and Divisions.
  • Developing and agreeing program scope with business stakeholders, align and manage budgets, risks, and issues.
  • Managing all projects under the program. Obtaining, allocating and managing program resources to deliver program goals.
  • Leading global delivery teams across program workstreams, through workstream leads as applicable for individual workstreams.
  • Direct leadership of the Supply Collaboration workstream for direct procurement.
  • Ensuring roadmaps across SCM capabilities are coordinated.
  • Building roadmap in line with MO and ABB ERP program. Managing global implementation.
  • Ensuring a transparent & predictable communication with all stakeholder groups across workstreams.
  • Acting as escalation point for issues across the program requiring steering committee and executive involvement.
  • Ensuring proper governance is followed.

Qualifications And Experiences:-

  • Proven experience & solid knowledge of supply chain management and project management.
  • IS system understanding.
  • Good collaboration skills.
  • Patient, stress tolerant and persistent continuous developer. Pro-active, independent and can carry the responsibility.
  • Cultural awareness, good communication, good argumentation, and ability to convince and sell.
  • Good networking and social skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
