Job Description

You will be working as Product Engineering Specialist and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production Engineering Manager and will be responsible for optimizing the production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment in order to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety.

Responsibilities:-

  • Responsible for monitoring and implementing Engineering Change Notice (ECN)
  • Responsible for product costing, monitoring and analyzing on monthly basis
  • Verifying and maintaining of Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM) as per EBOM (Engineering BOM)
  • Coordinating with global R&D team for testing, validation and faster implementation of localization part
  • Participating with Cross Functional Team in solving product performance issues (FMEA)
  • Coordinating with quality and manufacturing team during external audits UL, CSA, CCC etc

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant field
  • Good knowledge of control gear and switchgear
  • Good knowledge of UL, IEC Standards
  • Good knowledge of testing of control gear and switchgear
  • Excellent communication skills
