Job Description

You will be part of the Global procurement Expediting and QA, Global Support who ensures delivery of your product is completed on schedule, saves money by actively working to improve delivery times, and reduces the risks associated with delays in the supply chain, that together specify quality standards, practices, resources, specifications, and the sequence of activities relevant to a particular product, service, projects, or contract and dedicated to implementing sustainable solutions for our customers, by joining this team, you will have the chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and different challenges.

Responsibilities:-

  • Develops & maintains the Project quality plans including quality documentation.
  • Conducts or participates in engineering reviews / Project Kick of meeting.
  • Establishes and maintains Project Surveillance plan.
  • Clarifies customer expectations to quality and liaison with customers.
  • Handles quality issues on project.
  • Informs suppliers and FLSmidth inspectors on quality issues so they are well prepared for inspections.
  • Follows up on inspection reports from third party inspection companies to secure traceability.
  • Supports and facilitates the Development of more efficient processes.
  • Supports supplier evaluation & development Invites customer or their representatives to inspections to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
  • Coordinates customer inspections (between Customer or their representatives), suppliers and FLSmidth inspectors to avoid misunderstandings.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • A relevant bachelors level qualification, ideally an engineering degree.
  • At least 5-10 years’ experience in QC, QPE, Expediting, Manufacturing, Production platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and credibility both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets and the clear plan to reach those targets.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of handling suppliers and how to improve them in terms of faster delivery, Quality standards. (Improving SIFOT, DIFOT)
  • Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Computer experience using standard MS Office suite of programs is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to work with customers, External, Internal stake holders, and other personnel daily.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organization, multitasking and time management skills that delivers effective planning and housekeeping standards.
  • Experience in dealing with international counterparts will be added advantages.
  • Knowledge of any foreign language will be added advantage.
  • Works towards building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP-systems
  • Hands-on experience with QMS/IMS systems
  • Experience in supplier in process manufacturing inspection will have added advantages.
  • Handling NCR/TQ- desirable.
