- Development of Vendor evaluation, grading and engagement strategy to create pre-qualified vendors for equipment and services relating to construction of Solar Power Plants.
- Build on existing vendor relationships.
- Cost-optimization- Overall responsibility for timely, cost effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services to meet project quality and budget requirements.
- Support sales team in pre-sales costing and proposal preparation.
- Involved in negotiation of contracts/ contract terms.
- Implementation and continued execution of streamlined logistics processes and ensuring on-time, errorless delivery of solar system components.
- Implementation of effective inventory management system at project sites.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Risk Mitigation-Visiting suppliers for capacity assessment & identifying additional vendors for supply of critical parts.
- Maintain and update records of vendor database, purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Update project procurement and logistics updates on project management software.
- Responsible for Team management, development, and engagement.
Mandatory Requirements:-
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a stint in a similar role. Candidates with prior experience in Solar will be preferred.
