Principal Engineer – Process

• Candidate should have knowledge of chemical engineering to develop the BEP (Basic Engineering package)
  for chemical plants.
• He / She should manage the team of 10 to 15 staff to carried out the work on multiple
  projects.
• Have knowledge on multi discipline engineering Review and prepare the simulation of different
  chemical reactions with using Aspen software.
• Able to provide the inputs and guide team while stage of detail engineering for preparation of process deliverables, such as P&ID, PFD, Heat & Mass Balance, process drop calculation, sizing of equipment, utility engineering, HAZP participation, etc.

Key Roles/Duties:-

• Review & checking of documents.
• Heading team member.
• Development of BEP /FEED.
• Knowledge of International codes and standard
• Preparation of Process control philosophy and control narratives
• Preparation of PFD
• Preparation of P & ID
• Heat & Mass Balance
• Hydraulic Calculation
• Design of heat exchangers
• PSV & ERV sizing
• Utility summary and sizing
• Process Equipment Sizing
• Preparation of PDS
• Preparation of IPDS
• Equipment List
• Line List
• Review & checking of Vendor drawings

Qualification And Experience:-

• Qualified Chemical Engineer from reputed university / institute preferably with Masters in Chemical Engineering with professional work experience
• Experience in preparation of PFD, P&ID, Piping Material Specification, Sizing of Equipment, Utility Sizing, Heat Balance, Mass Balance, Hydraulic Calculation, Pump Selection, Process Instrumentation Datasheet, etc.
• Experience in Process design & simulation with CHEMCAD & ASPEN
• Experience in HAZOP and HAZIS studies.
• Experience with Process Design on Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment
• Good communication skill and inter-discipline coordination skill
• Conversant with Indian and International Standards and local statutory norms
