Principal Engineer - Energy Modelling

This exciting and challenging role represents a significant opportunity for the right person to showcase their technical, skills, to get involved with driving low carbon agenda for our global lender and investor clients and to join the growing Arcadis UK Lender & Investor team.

• Liaison with clients to understand their specific requirements
• Carbon foot printing of building portfolios
• Undertake energy and carbon modelling of existing buildings
• Identification of carbon reduction and net zero plans for existing buildings
• Preparation of clear and well-structured calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables

Requirements:-

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, Building Physics or suitable alternative qualification
• Chartered membership of an appropriate Professional body [desirable but not essential]
• Good motivation, influencing and people management skills
• Knowledge and experience of Carbon foot printing standards and related ISO standards
• Good working knowledge and understanding of IES VE energy modelling
• Modelling of embodied carbon of buildings
