Principal Engineer - Electrical

• Offshore HVAC/HVDC platform
• Fabrication yard experience and block building methodology.
• Should be able to read and understand the specification and European regulations and shall be able to implement those regulations during the project execution.
• Extensive layout and 3D modeling experience, able to coordinate complete inputs for layouts
• Ability to prepare or review Electrical Design Basis/ Philosophy.
• Knowledge of offshore substation layout requirements.
• Ability to develop or review control, protection and interface requirements between various major electrical equipment including HV Equipment
• Ability to review electrical specifications and datasheets for the following:
  - LV switch gear panels, Distribution boards
  - AC/DC UPS units, Batteries, Cables
• Ability to justify the design on technical and contractual grounds
• Ability to add value and optimize the design
• Offshore experience is a must
• knowledge of fabrication details, managing S/C
