Power System Engineer

We are looking for a Power System Engineer to join our team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure projects in India.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:-

• Working on classical power system analysis & modelling including load flow, short circuit analysis and transient stability assessments.
• Working on PowerFactory and PSCAD software tools.
• Working on PVSyst for solar projects.
• Working on Power system modelling and analysis including dynamic RMS and EMT type assessments and studies.
• Working on Industrial network studies including protection and arc flash studies.
• Transmission and distribution network planning.

Development of advanced power system monitoring solutions.

• Grid connection studies and compliance testing for renewable generation.
• Development of dynamic controller models in PowerFactory, PSCAD or PSS/E software.
• Dynamic stability simulations and analysis.
• Preparing and reviewing technical reports related to your area of expertise.
• Inter-departmental coordination and communication with colleagues in India and Europe.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Power System Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in power system analysis in generation, transmission or distribution systems.
• Proficient, advanced users of PowerFactory and/or PSCAD and PSS/E power system software packages.
• Experience in power simulating, study analysis and assessing energy impact on the grid.
• Experience in using one of the following software DigSilent PowerFactory, PSCAD or PSS/E.
• Working knowledge in Python coding – Desirable.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software particularly MS Excel and Word.
• To be a role model for work ethics and quality of the work delivered
