Power Plant Operation Specialist

ou will be working as Power Plant Operation Specialist and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore; India. In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Solution & Value Engineering Manager and responsible to support strategic technology direction by identify, propose, and implement innovative technology, software and/or solutions by contributing with own ideas.

Your responsibilities:-

• Conceptualize designs for value engineering scenarios to incorporate in digital transformation solutions in the Asset performance management, Reliability, RCM, CBM, Predictive maintenance etc.
• Work closely with Customers and Business Units to architect and develop customer centric solutions tailored to their requirements.
• Agile development of digital solution ‘Proof of Concepts’ to effectively articulate the Customer Value Proposition.
• Provide industry specific domain insights for rich proposal responses by articulating customer value proposition.

Qualification And Experience:-

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical from a reputed institution.
• Required minimum 8-10 years of overall work experience Coal or Gas based Power Stations.
• Deep and broad technical experience in operations of large Turbines, Generators and Boilers. Primary experience in Power Generation industry operations/process engineering and /or technology and /or R&D skills.
• Ability to interact with Business and Operations heads to articulate Business Value.
• Expertise in Power Generation Operations, process optimization and investigation in process/operation related failures, energy efficiency, Process performance analysis, risk assessment and efficiency / performance assessment of critical process equipment (Turbines, Generators, Boilers, Condensers etc.)
• Experience in process optimization, annual overhauls, PG tests, techno-commercial analysis, Grid interfacing activities, multi-unit operations are considered an added advantage.
