Modeler/Engineer – Lighting/Electrical

• Set up infrastructure projects and associated x-refs on ProjectWise and set up the required elements for electrical and lighting power using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Prepare electrical circuit schedules (or equivalent) from the drawings or models.
• Comply with best in class QA/QC procedures for all project deliverables.
• Pay close attention to quality and technical accuracy.
• Smooth coordination with other Mechanical, Structural, Architectural, Civil and Highways disciplines.
• Work effectively and collaboratively to complete deliverables to the required deadlines.

Candidate Specification:-

• Have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Should have good working experience using AutoCAD 2020, 3D modelling in Civil 3D, Navisworks clash detections. Knowledge & experience of Revit is also desirable, along with a proven capability to prepare fixing details for lighting and electrical equipment on structures and the like.
• Knowledge of lighting design software such as Dialux and ProDesign is preferred.
• Must have worked on Road/Highway Lighting and/or Major Infrastructure projects Lighting designs.
• Must have experience complying with British & GCC standards including good knowledge of GG184 Highways England CAD standards, must be proficient in the use of layer referencing and applying specified CAD standards.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Should be able to work independently on tasks, seeking assistance from the engineer when required.
• Experience of ProjectWise and BIM360 is essential.
