MEP Engineer

To assist Senior Engineer in project delivery. Should be familiar with horizontal pipeline design work with basic softwares like Bentley suits and GIS products.

Responsibilities:-

• Review/Scrutinize and certify MEP designs, concept & detailed design & drawings, specifications/standards, design basis reports, QAP, QAQC related to airside, landside, terminal building, Cargo building, Ancillary buildings, and other associated greenfield airport Development.
• Preparation of designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings.
• Review & scrutinize MEP design basis & other related reports to assess & recommend the parameters required for MEP design.
• Review & scrutinize third party reports for specialized agencies.
• Review, Inspection, supervision, and monitoring of field works related to the airport project.
• Responsible to ensure that the MEP scope of work are executed as per approved project quality management system and Concession Agreement (CA) requirements.
• Reviewing and witnessing the related Tests on completion of construction and assisting the client in issuing Completion Certificate.
• Excellent understanding & Knowledge about NBC, IS standards & codes, DGCA CAR & ICAO standards is desirable.
• Proficient in preparation and evaluation of QAP & QAQC as per relevant specifications and standards.
• Understanding of design specifications and technical drawings.
• Attending design review & progress review meetings with the client & other stake-holders, and preparation of technical presentations.
• Technical capability in new technologies and design environments as part of a process of continual professional development.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

Minimum Requirements:-

• Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 05 years of relevant professional experience in review, designing & construction monitoring of various Mechanical, Electrical & piping (MEP) systems like HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant & other electrical systems preferably for projects related to airport infrastructure development.
• Experience of working in similar capacity particularly for MEP works related to greenfield/brownfield airport projects, Mega building projects or Infrastructure projects is highly preferable.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Excellent Communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of industry standard computer softwares for the position like Revit & AutoCAD.
