Job Description

You will be working as Mechanical Engineer order engineering and will be part of Motion business for Large Motors & Generators division based in Vadodara, India. In this role you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and will be responsible for creating and modifying the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction for assignments classified as low to medium complexity by applying standard design concepts.

Responsibilities:-

  • Responsible to process orders in engineering department meeting customer specifications and ABB standards
  • Responsible to deliver customer documentation, bill of materials and all required manufacturing/procurement specifications on time and with good quality using ABB tools
  • Coordinating with other stake holders to ensure smooth order processing and provide technical support to other departments whenever required
  • Adherence to ABB code of conduct and integrity and practice the same

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Design Engineer
  • 3-4 years’ experience in motors/generators design environment preferred
  • Know basics of Mechanical design of rotating electrical machines (motors and generators)
  • Hands on experience of 2D and 3D modeling and drafting software’s (AutoCAD and Unigraphics preferred)
  • Knowledge of ERP software like SAP preferred
