Job Description

You will be working as Mechanical Design Engineer – (LV Panels) and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Project Manager and will be responsible for creating and modifying the standard designs of equipment, systems or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication or construction, for assignments classified as low to medium complexity, using standard design concepts.

Responsibilities:-

  • Preparing of detailed design drawing with respect to type test like ACB link, MCCB link, busbar interconnection drawing etc
  • Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to identify and select enclosure part to build power enclosure panel (Artu-k)
  • Implementing ArTuK stage inspection and final inspection procedures and ensuring that are being followed by partners
  • Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost
  • Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions
  • Verifying or inspecting the Artu-k Panel in line with standards and type tested assembly
  • Supporting on designing and developing new type test panel

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in related field
  • Experience in LV switchgear engineering involving MCC, PCC, IMCC, comprising components like ACB, MCCB, Soft Starters, VFD, ATS, Transformer Bus duct
  • Good knowledge about Auto CAD, Solid Works, Creo, MS Office, SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
