Job Description

The EHS Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices for upcoming Wind Power projects.

Responsibilities:-

  • Implement and oversee safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and National EHS regulations relevant to wind power projects.
  • Develop and conduct EHS training programs for project staff and contractors, emphasizing safe work practices.
  • Lead investigations into incidents or accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for prevention.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring readiness for unforeseen events.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate EHS considerations into project planning and execution.

Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field and Diploma in Industrial Safety.
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in a similar role, preferably Wind Energy sector.

Skills:-

  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in incident investigation and reporting.
