Job Description

  • Candidate should be familiar with Substation, Transmission Line and Rural electrification materials for International projects
  • Candidate should have handled procurement of Substation, Transmission Line and Rural electrification materials for International projects.
  • Candidate should have the vendor base for Substation, Transmission Line and Rural electrification materials for International projects.
  • Candidate should have knowledge about costing of products likes Transformer, Cables, structure material,  , GIS, CRP/SCADA etc
  • Good in oral and written communication
  • SAP MM Module Hands on experience
  • MS office Hands on experience
  • Problem solving and exposure to materials costing
  • Floating enquiries, preparation of techno-commercial comparison, negotiation with the suppliers, management approval note, contract management etc.
  • Familiar with PGCIL or Electricity Board inspection process
  • Co-ordination with finance for Supplier Payments
  • Coordination with project team to ensure on time delivery of material at site.
  • Should have knowledge on imports and export process, LC’s etc.
  • Candidate should have knowledge about INCO term, duty benefits, duty drawback procedures and third-party shipment exposures.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • B.E. Electrical in Electrical Engineering.
  • Required MS Office Knowledge, SAP

Technical Competencies:-

  • Knowledge of Material / equipment used in Rural Electrification and Sub-Station Projects and Transmission Line.
  • Costing of electrical equipment’s.
