This position is responsible for new and existing HV/EHV cable product development and is responsible for providing process support to solve material and design related issues.
Responsibilities:-
- Preparing Technical Particulars / Design Datasheets & Cross-sectional drawings for EHV, HV XLPE Cables
- Preparing manufacturing guidelines for plant production team
- Knowledge of Indian Standards (IS) & International Standards (IEC)
- Raw material estimation (Bill of material) calculation for cable costing
- Calculations of all Electrical parameters applicable for HV/EHV cable
- Calculation of accessories for EHV cable turnkey projects
- Ability to design new products
- Knowledge about Raw materials of HV/EHV cable
- Knowledge about HV/EHV cable testing and Familiar with SAP/AutoCAD
