Roles & Responsibilities:-

  • The primary function of this role is to collaborate as HR business partner with management to plan and implement programs that meet human resource requirements supporting short-term and long term business needs of Vehicle teams based at at Ranjangaon Location, The role will also be responsible for deploying talent management practices. The successful incumbent will develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain key people while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization with positive employee relations planning/communication capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans.
  • Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability and drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Must have the ability to diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions to resolve gap, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training. Ensure organization practices align with Eaton Philosophy.
  • Provides strategic solutions, advises and counsel to Site managers and supervisors
  • Administer employee relation’s policies and procedures that are responsive to the needs of employees and customers with a focus on Eaton’s Leader Profile.
  • Direct the development of a wide variety of employee relations activities, including employee recognition events, award programs and communication vehicles/channels.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws.  Maintain current knowledge of new laws and legal trends affecting HR-related activities and functions.
  • Provides guidance and direction to business leaders on human resource management policies, processes and systems.
  • Manages the administration of human resource policies, programs, and practices throughout the site, Implements corporate practices into local operations.
  • Facilitates communication between various levels of the operation.
  • Assures implementation and administration of compensation and benefit programs.
  • Guides and/or conducts employee training and development programs, including leadership training.
  • Assures an effective performance management process is utilized for all employees.
  • Manages recruitment process for plant & functional employees.
  • Implements effective safety and other employee relations programs.
  • Develops succession planning in co-operation with site and/or functional leaders.
  • Uses employee survey process to drive high levels of Employee Engagement.
  • Foster a culture where ownership of health and safety is embraced by all employees. Utilize Management of Environmental, Health and Safety (MESH) to drive “zero incidents” culture.
  • Deploy Talent management practices for Vehicle.
  • Manage labour / employee relations proactively for Vehicle plant by deploying Eaton culture & maintaining cordial relationship with Union representative. Participate and lead the collective bargaining agreement for Vehicle plant.

Qualifications & Experiences:-

  • 12 + years overall Management Experience.
  • Post-graduation specialization in Human Resources.
  • Experience providing HR support to manufacturing and commercial teams in India, preferably with MNC.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking capability and business acumen.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization.
  • Should exhibit leadership skills in Planning, directing and controlling.
