Job Description

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

Quality:-

  • Scoping of the Value-added activities in Quality which can be supported from Remote with HC reduction/Cost avoidance at Flex Site.
  • Responsible to coordinate & collaborate with Regional Leads/Site for smooth transition of Quality related services from Flex Manufacturing sites.
  • Responsible to collaborate with Global Corporate/Supplier Quality & support them & sites in implementation of Corporate tools, systems & processes.
  • Participate in Corporate Quality Summit & sharing the updates on all new services.
  • Responsible for driving Standardization, Productivity Improvement & other CFT Projects systematically.
  • Planning effective utilization of Head count through Workload Balancing.
  • Act immediately for the queries / request from the customer.
  • Act as a consultant to sites on all Quality related Activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining OTD & Accuracy of all Quality related services being transitioned from Manufacturing sites.
  • Responsible for Quality Management System for Engineering Quality & facing External Audits for IATF Standards.
  • Responsible to develop the Skill level of Engineers within the team & preparing them to take up high complex activities from Remote & do On-site support wherever needed.
  • Conduct Weekly/monthly review with the team members/Flex Manufacturing sites/Regional Leads and ensure to track actions until closure.
  • Exploring and adopting new technology tools, techniques or Best practices from similar industry to improve the efficiency.
  • Support conducting the interviews for selecting suitable candidates for the team based on the Job requirements.

Environmental Compliance:-

  • Responsible for Collection, analysis & archival of the component/supplier information related to Product Environmental Compliance /Conflict Minerals for electronic /Automotive parts.
  • Interaction with Manufacturers across the world to collect the Environmental declarations & provides guidance on Compliance information requested by Requestor.
  • Collaborate with Global Commodity Manager’s & Site Buyer Management to improve the Supplier Response.
  • Provide support to Supplier Quality Engineers/Commodity Management/Procurement/Design Engineering team regarding the Environmental Compliance.
  • Coordinating with Global Environmental Compliance team for Process set up of any New requirements from customer or New regulations.
  • Leading discussion with IT Teams to resolve the existing Issues/Updates and Enhancement proposals related to Compliance Management tools.
  • Act as a Consultant in handling site/Customer queries.
  • Responsible to Submit the Annual SEC Reporting on Conflict Minerals to the Legal Team.
  • Alignment with Global CSER team on the Sustainability Metrics.
  • Periodical communication to Site on the Regulation updates, change in Process through’ Newsletter & Summit.

Here is some of what you will need need (required):

  • B.E(Electronics and Communication) or B.E(EEE) graduate with 15-20 years of Manufacturing experience exposure to Automotive/EMS segment.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

  • At least 15+ years of work experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably worked as Manager / Senior Manager (or equivalent).
  • Good experience in operations management managing big teams and delivering to KPIs.
  • Knowledge on standards (ISO, IATF, medical standards).
  • Certified ISO 9001: 2008 auditor. TS certification and other certifications an added advantage.
  • Experience in NPI/In-process/ Supplier Quality and Customer Quality.
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Tools, Problem solving tools, Customer Complaint analysis.
  • Sound knowledge on FMEA and Control Plan and able to work independently in these areas.   
  • New Product / Project Management.  
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean and Kaizen projects.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professionals’ journals, technical procedures & Environmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Senior Management and customers.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Excellent Coaching & mentoring skills. Excellent Conflict resolution skills Reporting & Decision-making skills and good collaboration and conflict mgmt. skills.
  • MUST be a GO GETTER.
  • Flexible to work in change shifts based on business requirement.
