Job Description

DATA HANDLING:-

  • Develop data collection plans for EHS aspects under review
  • Analyze EHS data, carry out trend analysis, monitor EHS performance, prepare reports (documents, presentations) and report on EHS performance such as various Monthly / Quarterly EHS performance reports
  • Compile & verify various EHS performance data and action status reports as per monthly / quarterly / annual   reporting schedule, and update the performance data and compliance status

REPORTING:-

  • Maintain the auditable EHS Management system, EHS performance record, incident reports, investigation reports, corrective action status, EHS audit action status, etc. and report to management and act as Management representative
  • Submit the various EHS reports as per reporting matrix & schedule

PLANNING & IMPROVEMENT:-

  • Identify the gaps, develop strategy, objective, targets and action plan for continual improvement in EHS performance and submit to management for approval.
  • Review, revised and control EHS system & procedures

SAFETY:-

  • Conduct EHS training in key areas and coordinate the training program for group companies by developing training matrix.
  • Conduct fire risk assessment/HAZOP/health and safety risk assessments for the company operation
  • Coordinate with sourcing and operations department for the procurement of the appropriate PPE’s, safety instruments and maintenance of fire fighting/fire detection systems.
  • Implement industrial hygiene standards in the unit and arrange for Occupational medical program for the employees.
  • Coordinate the functioning of ETP, STP, ZLD and all other aspects of environment monitoring aspects of the units.

COMPLIANCE:-

  • Maintain the Statutory / Legal compliance monitoring records
  • Implementation of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and BSC Five Star OHS Management System in the unit

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:-

EHS Risk assessment skill (Master)

  • (Identifies potential areas of risk and conducts effective survey of plant; knowledge of safety layouts and norms)

Knowledge of EHS performance indicators/data (Master)

  • (Able to identify measures and collate data into periodic reports; knowledge of EHS performance monitoring and reporting)

Knowledge of and experience in EHS Legal compliance monitoring and reporting (Master)

  • (Experience with EHS management systems and auditing; reviewing and interpreting various EHS policies)

Proficiency in Statutory Regulations (Master)

  • (Pertaining to administration shop establishment, factory acts, Environment health & safety)

Execution Skill (Advanced)

  • (Ability to deliver on time the desired results within the specified parameters)

Qualifications And Experiences:-

  • Degree / Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) with Advance diploma in Industrial Safety, Health and Environment
  • Min 7 – 10 years Experiences
  • Prior experience in Manufacturing industry
