EIIC has opening for Manager – Engineering – System Modeling – Power Electronics & Electrical.
Incumbent will be responsible for leading niche technoloy team to deploy System Modeling Capabilities in areas such as Power Electronics and Drives, Distributed Energy Resources and developing algorithms for PHM solutions for Industrial, Electrical sector and Eaton Research Lab.
Shape Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) strategy for Power Electronics and Power systems domains for flagship products across IS & ES
Establish platform-based simulation capabilities in areas of controls, XiL, LV electronics cutting across Aero, VG and Electrical
Develop digital design strategy for Power Electronics across IS & ES & align with NextGen PE
Build a roadmap for Digital Twin development in partnership with Center for Intelligent Power

Qualification And Experience:-

MS/ME/M.Tech. or PhD in Electrical/Electronics engineering
12-14 Years of relevant work experience with multinational engineering organizations
Develops & deploys Digital Design approach to programs across Eaton products.
Coordinates with the EIIC & Global teams to develop and implement System Modeling methodologies in domain of Power Electronics and Drives, DER, PHM development leveraging state of art CAE tools
Provides strategic and tactical direction to Electrical System Modeling
Interfaces with internal stakeholders to conceive, develop, execute and communicate plans
Shape and drive programs for model based developments aligned to MBSE strategy
Lead platform level developments in controls, XiL, LV electronics aligned to busines strategies of Aerospace, Vehicle and Electrical groups
Deploys Design for Six Sigma within team
Inculcate Innovation Mindset
Identify and partner with CIP team and develop Prognostic Health Monitoring solutions for IS &ES

Skills:-

Good fundamental knowledge in Power Electronics and Power Systems.
Hands on experience in simulation model development for Inverter, converter and/or Power Systems simulations and PHM development is added advantage.
Thorough understanding of Six Sigma (DfSS) principles.
Proven track record in engineering / R&D domain. Candidate should have demonstrated tenacity and flexibility to reliably achieve goals.
Candidate should have excellent English communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
Should have demonstrated effective team building and interpersonal skills, inclusive behavior and conflict management.
Experience with leading teams is a plus. Exposure to handling customer and understanding of end to end product development cycle.
