- Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and deploy processes and tools
- Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR)
- Manage the company supply chain by sourcing, reviewing, and purchasing commodities.
- Evaluate cost details and negotiate prices and terms of purchase to maximize cost-benefit, on-time delivery, and quality
- Develop and maintain good relationships with commodity suppliers and distributors.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Quality and Engineering teams and implement engineering changes to maintain/reduce cost
- Evaluate supplier performance and monitor improvement plans
- Ensure a Supply Chain Risk Mitigation Plan for all suppliers
- Ensure project approved budgets are adhered to
- Resolve vendor disputes and any commodity-related issues
Qualification And Experience:-
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Production Engineering
- Master’s degree in Management is desirable
- 12 - 16 years of relevant experience
- Experience of working in Commodity Management and Supplier Quality Assurance
- Good teammate with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Must have analytical ability and clarity of thought
