Manager Commodity and SQE

• Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and deploy processes and tools
• Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR)
• Manage the company supply chain by sourcing, reviewing, and purchasing commodities.
• Evaluate cost details and negotiate prices and terms of purchase to maximize cost-benefit, on-time delivery, and quality
•  Develop and maintain good relationships with commodity suppliers and distributors.
•  Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Quality and Engineering teams and implement engineering changes to maintain/reduce cost
• Evaluate supplier performance and monitor improvement plans
• Ensure a Supply Chain Risk Mitigation Plan for all suppliers
• Ensure project approved budgets are adhered to
• Resolve vendor disputes and any commodity-related issues

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Production Engineering
• Master’s degree in Management is desirable
• 12 – 16 years of relevant experience
• Experience of working in Commodity Management and Supplier Quality Assurance
• Good teammate with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Must have analytical ability and clarity of thought
