Manager- Automation and Control Engineer

We are looking for a Manager – Automation & Control to lead and optimize automation processes in solar cell/module manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation and control systems to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity in our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Develop and implement automation strategies for solar cell/module manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the design, programming, and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and other industrial control systems.
• Ensure seamless integration of automation systems with manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to enhance process efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues, ensuring smooth plant operations.
• Optimize robotics, sensors, and machine vision systems to enhance precision and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in automation.
• Lead and mentor the team in automation-driven innovation to enhance solar cell/module production efficiency.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and integrate advanced automation technologies.
• Monitor key KPIs & performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in automated processes.

Qualifications & Experience:-

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in automation & control, specifically in solar cell/module manufacturing or a related industry.
• Strong expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI programming, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
• Experience in robotics, vision systems, and IoT-driven automation solutions is a plus.
• Proficiency in industrial control software, programming languages (Python, C++, etc.), and database management for automation systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in automation & control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple automation projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
