LV MV Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• To work closely with offshore wind MV & LV design
• To collaborate with skilled designers to create an optimal electrical design.
• Participating in the development and review of equipment data sheets, technical specifications, engineering calculations, and reports.
• Preparing single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, D.B. schedules, HAC schedules, MTOs.
• In-depth calculations for voltage drop on cables; Earthing and bonding design; Lighting design and load flow analysis; Routing of HV inter-array cables.
• Inter-departmental coordination and communication with colleagues globally.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Hold a bachelor's/ master’s degree in electrical engineering with 5-8 years of experience
• Be familiar with the main subject areas within electrical (LV, MV, and HV systems).
• Have experience in Earthing, lightning lighting design, cable routing, and equipotential bonding. for industrial units, Cable Sizing, cable schedule, BOQ estimation
• Have knowledge of substation basic electrical design.
• Have experience in working on projects involving Hazardous environments.
• Be conversant with IEC, IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, and API standards.
• Have Instrumentation knowledge in reading P&IDs and interconnecting diagrams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in international projects.
• Be expected to be a role model for work ethics and the quality of the work delivered.

Good to have:- 

• Experience in offshore projects; offshore substations, offshore wind farms, and offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Knowledge of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP)
