Job Description

The Logistics Executive will assist in optimization of all Logistics operations for Freyr energy services under the direct supervision of GM-Operations on Solar PV projects of medium to high complexity. The candidate will also be responsible for floating enquiries, negotiating payment terms, maintaining delivery schedule, evaluating techno-commercial proposals from vendors.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing; managing and evaluation of the Logistics operations in the Company.
  • Work with internal departments and external teams to ensure accurate shipping and delivery schedule for new and existing products.
  • Can work with manufacturing organizations, trading companies, etc.
  • Involved in performing analysis of the overall budget/expenses for the logistics operations of the organization and determining the most cost-effective and efficient means of transportation services.
  • Responsible and accountable for the direct day-to-day operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, or accuracy, or timeliness objectives of the department, as well as manage logistics personnel and systems like Zoho Projects, etc.
  • Works together with logistics planners to forecast demand in their markets and build logistics plans to guarantee availability of products or services and streamline processes and flow of goods from point of order to delivery.
  • Responsible for providing an uninterrupted flow of materials, supplies, and services to meet
    customer demand.
  • On-boarding standard logistics vendors companies across India, for both intracity and intercity transport.


  • Diploma/Degree in B.E Electronics or other related discipline in Material Management.
  • Education Qualification: Graduation in any stream.


  • At least 5 years progressive experience in solar PV EPC Projects SCM/Procurement, should have
    knowledge about specs of various components which goes into the project and also the local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience in working with both intercity and intracity transporter companies, with own fleet is desired.
  • Vendor management skill.

  • Must be willing to travel to vendor location and project site.
  • Owns a 2-Wheeler and driving license.
  • Conversant in Telugu, Hindi and English. Assertive communication.
  • Comfortable working on MS Office- Word and Excel and Web applications like Zoho.
  • Ability to think critically, organize work assignments according to their priority, comfort in collaborating with various stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Passion for delivering high quality results.
