Job Description

Responsibilities:-

  • Monitor and control production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production requirements with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance functions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, operational protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Lead and supervise a team of production supervisors, operators and shift in charge.
  • Establish performance objectives, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Identify training and development needs for the operations team and facilitate appropriate training programs.
  • Coordinate with the PPC and demand planning teams to ensure accurate production planning and scheduling.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demands while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory requirement.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
