Job Description

Currently we are looking for a Lead Process Engineer in New Dehli, India to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Lead Process Engineer you will be rsponsibile broadly for the technical aspects of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia project feasibility, project development support, contracting and tender work. To manage, coordinate and lead all tasks and activities towards delivering a technical compliant project. You will be also required to take ownership and responsibility to ensure all technical/contractual requirements are considered and implemented enabling the successful completion of the projects.

Main responsibilities:-

  • To manage, coordinate and lead tasks and activities towards delivering a technical compliant project
  • To take ownership and responsibility to ensure all technical/contractual requirements are considered and implemented enabling the successful completion of the projects
  • To support the development of projects through technical assessments/investigations, due diligence studies and designs by engaging the various business units and relevant stakeholders
  • Scoping and specifying contract deliverables related to construction, equipment, and the facility
  • Development of PFDs. GAs, interface diagrams for system designs
  • Identify and specification of interface requirements (H2 Spec, RO Water Spec etc.)
  • Compilation and evaluation of RFP documents and supplier responses
  • Scrutiny and evaluation of supplier technical offers
  • Conduct detailed due diligence and investigations to conclude on technology selections, specifically on the electrolysers
  • Evaluating and assisting in the development of levelized cost of Hydrogen models
  • Support Execution Team with planning and alignment of technical aspects of the project
  • Review and production of process flow, block and piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Development of project design basis and technical contract schedules
  • Lead the HAZID and HAZOP processes throughout the project for the process side
  • Support to projects in delivery/execution

Qualifications and competencies:-

  • Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proficiency in English to a very good working level
  • 5+ years of experience in a front-end engineering, EPC, technology licensor or an operator organization for Process Engineer and 10+ years’ experience for senior process enginee
  • Systems and process knowledge relating to the production of Ammonia and Hydrogen or LNG.
  • Ability to draft and review Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and other process related documentation
  • Ability to create and review specifications, scopes of work and system designs
  • Ability to evaluate supplier equipment offerings for technical compliance.
  • Shall be proficient in excel, AutoCAD and other discipline specific process design tools.
  • Should have good working experience with Process software like AspenPlus, Hysys, PROII, FlareNet, KORF, AFT, HTRI etc.
