Job Description

Operation Integrator will work to cover manufacturing operation depend on final assignment.  Each Operation Integrator to work with respective merged plant shift manager team to optimize operation prioritization to meet daily P90 goals as well as to coordinate flawless introduction of new product or manufacturing process improvement projects. The position will directly assist Director / Manager of Manufacturing in each merged plant operation activities and resources prioritization. Operation

Integrator shall act as manufacturing Person- In-Charge for integration with respective merged plant Equipment Maintenance Manager, Quality Assurance Manager and Manufacturing Integration Manager for operation resources prioritization beyond Shift Manager influence.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:-

  • Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards ● Assist in the department annual budget process and adheres to it.
  • Capable to take strategy and convert into actionable deliverables to meet daily, weekly and monthly P90 plan for each merged plants.
  • Chair one the three merged plant daily cross functional Throughput Operation Meeting to review previous day performance and to meet current day P90 goals. Responsible for effective communication, foster teamwork and diversity. Chair daily Site Operation Coordination Meeting (on need basis).
  • Actively communicate and build positive working relation with shift managers and cross functional section manager to achieve each merged plant and KLM operation objectives. Step in for Shift Manager where required.
  • One of the 3 focal persons to identify each merged plant and WIP and resources constrain and facilitate decision to mobilize resources to eliminate the constraints.
  • Lead and drive each merged plant operation action items closure with functional owners to remove constrains for 24X7 operations. Provides assessment for operation recovery and assignment of headcount, WIP and other resources to respective plant.
  • Operation Integrator shall coordinate with functional section managers for proliferation of new change request throughout the 24X7 operation with emphasize on standardized practices and to minimize capacity lost.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Productivity and drive teams to meet desired Overall Efficiency (OE), machine availability (MA), machine utilization (MU) are key

Education:-

  • Degree in science or technical discipline with 5 years operation supervision or management experience. Master in Engineering and Operation preferred
  • Diploma with more than 10 years equivalent factory work experience

Experience:-

Minimum of 5 year experience in these areas –

  • 3 year experience in operation supervision or management using Theory of Constraint
  • Leading significant project team in project deliverables planning and execution management.
  • Solar or any related factory Shift Manager experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision from senior manager

Required Skills:-

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Effective Meeting and communication skills that foster team work and result driven.
  • Problem Solving Skill (7 Steps Problem Solving /6 Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Words and Outlook)
  • Proficient in data mining/report such as System Applications and Product (SAP), Report Manager, Pro Clarity and JMP.
  • Understand production control system.  Equipment run-rate, Theory of Constraints, WIP policy and floor layout interaction. Know buffer sizes for each area.
  • Know direct and indirect material list, consumption POR, replenishment, storage and tracking system. Business Planning process flow from customer order to fulfillment and P90 process

Technical:-

  • Factory Physics, Operation Research , Technical Gap Analysis and Risk Assessment, FMEA methodology ● Behavioral:
  • Skillful at establishing and managing performance to operation metrics
  • Excellent ability to interact with all levels of associates and management throughout the organization include matrix structures.
  • Demonstrated passion towards networking, innovation and risk-taking in order to achieve outstanding results

Physical Requirements (if any):-

  • Associate may be required to wear a respirator at any given time, hence, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair )
  • Be mobile on need basis throughout the day. Able to do normal physical movements (examples: standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, carrying, climbing) without any problems.
