Lead Engineer – Turbine & BOP

As a Lead Engineer - Turbine & BOP (Mechanical) you will report to the Plant Manager / Maintenance Manager and will be responsible to handle Operation and Maintenance works for Hydro Power Plant. More specifically:

• Support proactively all HSSE procedures and policies and ensure all department workers adhere to the Statkraft HSSE policies and procedures.
• Responsible for Operation & Maintenance of BOP (Mechanical) systems for Hydro Power Plant.
• Responsible for Operation & Maintenance of Pelton Turbine and its auxiliaries.
• Preparation of SOPs, SMPs and Local operating procedures for assigned systems.
• Responsible for SAP work order generation, PTW, SJA, HIRA and LOTO for assigned systems.
• Responsible for Inventory Management of the assigned systems.
• Annual Maintenance planning, execution and record preparation for assigned systems.
• Plan and arrange activities related with equipment maintenance (annual and preventive) to enhance equipment and plant efficiency, targeting no / minimum production downtime.
• Quality Control and Quality Assurance related to machinery and equipment in Turbine & BOP (M) systems.
• Knowledge of International & Indian Technical standards. (ASME, ANSI, ASTM, IS etc.)
• Be a support engineer to lead engineer of other packages, as and when required.
• Be a Shift engineer for plant operation, as and when required.

Qualification And Experience:-

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience working in O&M of Turbine & BOP Mechanical Systems of Hydro Power Plants.
• Managed Team of Engineers / Technicians, with 2+ years of experience working as Lead engineer for Turbine & BOP Mechanical Systems.
• Hands on Knowledge of SAP will be desirable.
