Lead Engineer - Services Controls

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Directly support field engineers in commissioning, maintenance, repair of various hybrid systems around the globe for FLEXINVERTER controls-related issues
• Maintain, update and escalate cases coming from field engineers and customers directly - collect data for these cases to prepare for L3 support if needed
• Carry out analysis with inverters’ data coming from various customer sites through fleet data monitoring
• Work with other teams including hardware and software developers, field engineers, fleet managers, product engineers

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Control Systems or Electrical Engineering
• Relevant Industry Experience with large scale power converters, solar or energy storage systems
• Ability to read and fully understand electrical diagrams, BOMs, datasheets, control (flow) diagrams
• General experience in C(++), PLCs, SPS/FUP or similar – familiar with controls theory in general
• Experience using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers and willingness to work in test labs and Customer sites
• Fluent in English language

DESIRED:-

• Master’s Degree in Control Systems or Electrical Engineering
• Execution driven and results oriented
• Good communication skills (spoken and written)
• Excellent reporting and good personal organizational skills
• Design and development knowledge in renewables applications preferred
• Previous experience with GE P80i, Pertu
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment to plan and deliver well documented solutions on time
