Lead Engineer Electronics Design – Pressure and Temperature

• Report to the local EICP Product Leader
• Work with Global EE leader for program management and execution
• Work with Global EE leader to facilitate product knowledge and develop quality culture
• Provide work direction to local Electronics team members
• Work with cross-functional and global teams to develop and support Emerson’s pressure and temperature industrial measurement products
• Lead and/or assist new product development activities such as: create new circuit designs, leverage existing designs, identify and use proven technologies, and perform qualification testing
• Prepare detailed plans, schematics, and printed circuit board layouts, peer reviews, and prepare required technical documentation
• Provide technical support of products
• Nurture innovative and quality development culture within organization

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:-

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics
• Eight (8) or more years of applicable experience
• Knowledgeable in microcontroller-based board level design, schematic entry, printed circuit board design, layout, and prototype verification and testing.
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools
• Ability to flex working hours to accommodate global time differences

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:-

• Experience leading and executing new circuit board designs
• Experience working with international teams
• Experience with international safety and hazardous location design, including intrinsic safety
• Familiarity with industrial digital communication protocols (e.g. 4-20mA, HART, Modbus)
• Experience with EMC requirements and design techniques
• Two (2) or more years supervisor experience
