Job Description

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Identify and track Regulatory & Compliance requirements for industrial control products. Participate in compliance review with design teams from early stages and provide inputs for early mitigation for probable EMC or Safety Issues.
  • Creating Test Plans and Equipment test configuration details for EMC and Safety Testing. Executing in house EMC & Safety testing for Pre-Compliance and Certification. Troubleshooting EMC issues.
  • Preparing Test reports, submitting and Co-ordination with Certification bodies such as TI for EMC, UL, FM, CSA & BASEEFA (ATEX & IECx) for Ordinary & Hazloc Safety.
  • Responsible for circuit/board design & debugging, enhancement of various IO, Communication and CPU cards used in Remote Automation business
  • Manage Compliance Test lab & Test equipment’s along with Calibration Scheduling. Supporting Factory & Engineering audits by agencies and managing non-conformities. Managing the laboratory quality assurance program & annual Lab audit for EMC data acceptance program by Technology International.
  • Make technical presentations to peers and managers on the details of architecture, design, Technical risks etc.
  • Use excellent communication skills to interface with Technical architects on complex technical issues

Desired Educational Qualification:-

  • Bachelor or above in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university

Technical Skills / Knowledge Required:-

  • Minimum 5-10 years of excellent expertise in the field of agency/compliance requirements
  • Should have strong knowledge on IEC/ATEX, CISPR standards.
  • Measurement and validation methods for hardware design and know how to use the related instruments
  • Solid knowledge of electrical and electronics design and manufacturing. Knowledge of the fundamental theory of circuit analysis
  • Added advantage would be Proficiency in ECAD suite of tools either from Mentor Graphics or Cadence. Knowledge in Signal Integrity and simulations
  • Should be able to co-ordinate tasks across cross functional teams like Firmware, Mechanical, Component Engineering, PCB layout etc.
